Baghdad, Iraq – On Thursday, April 18, 2024, a pivotal meeting was held between representatives of the Iraqi Ukrainian House for Trade and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Ukrainian Embassy in Baghdad, Mr. Aleksandr Boravchenkov. The gathering, which took place in the Iraqi capital, included Dr. Imad Balak, president of the organization, and engineer Adel Al-Masoudi.

The discussions culminated in a significant agreement to organize an economic conference in both Baghdad and Erbil. This initiative, sponsored by the Iraqi Ukrainian House for Trade, aims to strengthen economic ties between Iraq and Ukraine. The conference will feature a series of visits by Ukrainian business leaders to Iraq, intended to enhance partnership opportunities and expand commercial activities across various sectors, thereby boosting the bilateral trade volume between the two nations.
